GA design

Arena Space is a commercial office building – beautifully oriented north, facing a lake, and clearly visible from JVLR Road, Mumbai.

The design is conceived like a ribbon, originating from the ground and wrapping around the building mass in a dynamic manner, spiralling up to the terrace level.  The ribbon expands and contracts on certain floors, exposing the refuge decks at random intervals. The ribbon, upon reaching the top of the building, angles out boldly to provide the perfect branding location for the clientele, and then extends out beyond the terrace level. The building facade is essentially a combination of several materials like dark granite columns on the lower floors, aluminium cladding, aluminium extruded sections and high performance glass.

​The distinctive design is in stark contrast to its surroundings and stands out as a unique office building, attracting the attention of the layman and providing a strong workplace identity to the client.
