GA design

Conceptualised with the intent of capitalising the stunning views of the sea link and Arabian sea, this 3000 sq.ft residential duplex apartment is located at Matunga - Mumbai. The challenge of this apartment was to design the layout of the living room in such a way that it felt spacious, while incorporating a TV wall (a specific requirement of the client) and a comfortable staircase that would lead to the floor above.

The layout accommodated 3 bedrooms on the lower level and one bedroom and the family sit-out area on the upper level. . Overcoming the challenge of the layout planning, the design was approached from a cohesive design and design vocabulary perspective. The color pastel blue, a preferred option for the client became the driving element of the palette selection. The Armani Grey marble floor, the Statuario backdrop with brass inserts, and a dash of concrete texture with a lot of Mid-Century accents form the design of the Living room. The Living room ceiling also sports a dash of the concrete texture, with a dynamic light fixture in gold metal and diamond shaped crystals framed in a veneer-finished frame.
